Donte DiVincenzo, a player for the New York Knicks, encountered heckling from a fan during the team’s recent loss to the Chicago Bulls. The incident occurred at the United Center, where a spectator seated courtside called out to DiVincenzo, advising him to tuck in his jersey. This remark visibly irritated DiVincenzo, prompting him to turn around and respond with a profanity-laden retort, which elicited laughter and reactions from other attendees. Despite continued attempts by the heckler to provoke him by mentioning NBA regulations regarding uniform attire, DiVincenzo chose not to engage further.

According to NBA rules, players are required to keep their uniform shirts tucked in while on the court, with no allowance for T-shirts to be worn underneath. Despite the distraction, DiVincenzo contributed 10 points to the game, his lowest scoring performance since January 17. However, the efforts of Javonte Green, who achieved his first career double-double with 25 points and 13 rebounds, propelled the Chicago Bulls to a 108-100 victory.

With this win, the Bulls advanced one game ahead of the Atlanta Hawks for the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference, securing home-court advantage in a forthcoming play-in tournament. Meanwhile, the New York Knicks maintained their position tied with the Orlando Magic for the fourth-best record in the Eastern Conference, despite the noteworthy performance of Jalen Brunson, who achieved his third consecutive double-double with 35 points and 11 assists.
