In a commanding 45-14 victory at home, the Texans dismantled the Cleveland Browns, a team that had boasted the best defensive record in the NFL during the regular season in terms of fewest yards allowed per game. Rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud delivered an impressive performance in his playoff debut for Houston, completing 16 of 21 pass attempts for 274 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs emerged victorious in a historic game against the Miami Dolphins, which was the fourth-coldest game in NFL history. The Chiefs secured a 26-7 win, with quarterback Patrick Mahomes leading the charge with 262 passing yards and a touchdown. The Chiefs’ defense effectively thwarted Miami head coach Mike McDaniels’ offensive strategies throughout the game.
